Badenova is an energy and environmental service provider in the region of South Baden. Following a successful installation of the Optoma FHDQ130 LED display in their “Aquarium” meeting room, Badenova decided to install another Optoma display. This time they opted for the larger 163-inch Optoma LED display, the FHDQ163, for the larger supervisory board meeting room, the “Forum”.
The Forum room has very large windows with lots of natural daylight and magnificent views of the Black Forest. In the past, the room always had to be darkened when using the old projector for the supervisory board meetings. The task was not only to replace the old technology (rear projection), but also to create a large bright image without having to darken the space.
Stefan Eckstein, Head of Building Management at Badenova, said: "The Forum room is located in close proximity to the board of directors. A rear projection projector was previously installed here with external boxes. Due to our satisfaction with the previous project, we decided to work with the installation company ‘Konferenzraum TV’ and use Optoma products again."
Maik Kohlbecker, owner of the installation company, Konferenzraum TV stated: "The all-in-one LED display from Optoma is already the second solution here at Badenova. We already installed an Optoma 130-inch LED display on the premises last year. We installed the 163-inch Optoma LED display in the larger meeting room, which is mostly used for supervisory board meetings."
The professional installation company Konferenzraum TV recommended Optoma's FHDQ163 LED display as the best solution for this project in the supervisory board meeting room at the Badenova premises.
The set-up of the FHDQ163 is exactly the same as the FHDQ130 with a simple three-step process. The display is a fully optimised 163-inch, Full HD 1080p all-in-one solution and comes pre-calibrated out of the box.
The three display sections were assembled and connected together, then the tiles were added. The installation process was quick and easy and could be installed in just a few hours.
Maik Kohlbecker commented: "We already installed an Optoma all-in-one LED display at the Badenova premises last year and the customer is very satisfied with this solution. It’s now possible to show crystal clear images in daylight. This made the decision easy for this project and the 163-inch Optoma LED display was chosen as the best solution as the larger screen size is optimally suited for the space."
Based on the same unique features as the 130-inch FHDQ130, the FHDQ163 delivers 600 nits of brightness, is pre-calibrated and ready to go with a simple three-step process that reduces installation time from days to hours. In addition, the FHDQ163 enables wireless content sharing for up to four devices simultaneously at the touch of a button. So, users can focus on the content and the display takes care of everything else.
The entire installation process was again a huge success as the 163-inch Optoma LED display looks great and has been seamlessly integrated into the boardroom.
Stefan Eckstein: "We are all very happy with the equipment here in the boardroom. The fact that we don't have to darken the room completely and the images look great even with the lights left on is a clear advantage. That's why we will probably use this technology again and again."
Installation company Konferenzraum TV was again delighted with the very easy installation process and by the quality of the display.
"We have consistently received positive feedback after the client's first few events. Not least because of the Full HD 1080p resolution and the option to present optimally bright images even in daylight.
"In addition to quality, cost-effectiveness naturally also plays a major role in such solutions. For this reason, we chose Optoma, as we did for the other room here on campus." Said Maik Kohlbecker.
